Resumen
El presente trabajo trata el uso del estrato de intervención en pinturas murales arrancadas, haciendo un breve repaso por la historia de los arranques de pintura mural y por diferentes casos en los cuales se ha hecho uso de este estrato, a la hora de traspasar una pintura mural arrancada al nuevo soporte. Son múltiples los tipos de materiales con los cuales se elabora este estrato, que tiene como función principal garantizar una óptima reversibilidad a la hora de necesitar separar la obra pictórica mural del nuevo soporte añadido. Esta reversibilidad puede ser mecánica, físico-química o térmica. Al mismo tiempo, se realiza una revisión de las propiedades de diferentes materiales aptos para la elaboración de un estrato de intervención, como también una aproximación empírica mediante probetas.
Abstract
The following research is focused in the interventio layer in detached wall paintings, brie- fl y reviewing mural wall painting detachment’s history and different cases in which this layer has been used, when the detached mural painting has been transfered to the new support. There is a wide variety of materials that can be used in the production of this layer, whose main goal is to guarantee that, in case that the painting needs to be separated from the new support, the procedure is reversible. This reversibility can be either mechanical, physical-chemical and thermal. At the same time, the properties of the different materials that can be used to elaborate this intervention layer, will be reviewed, and also the empirical approach with texting samples.
